Great Backyard Bird Count

Did anyone participate in this weekend event? I did and had a great time finding out what species of birds come to my hayrack feeder. I had no idea there were so many species of sparrow until I looke them up on the Net. I have a Solitary sandpiper who patrols my pond each day and he won't stop squawking. Sunday was the best day because I had waves of bird flocks coming in to feed. Exciting if you are a birder!
