Cash or credit....?????
« on: March 30, 2013, 04:26:39 pm »
I'm starting to wonder which is best cash or credit. Being in " Debt" can be stressful . But on the other hand cash is not always on hand.
Living, trusting and believing in God"s word. (He will not put no more on me than I can bear). :D :D

What do you thing cash or credit?

Personally, I think cash is better.  Let's face it, people will use credit (many times) for stupid things that they really don't need.  On top of using credit, now you've got fees to pay, too.  Unless it's used on an emergency basis, I don't see the point of putting myself in debt.  If you're paying cash for something, and you don't have it, it means you really couldn't afford it to begin with.

Credit cards can be great if you use them wisely. I like using them for cash back, and delaying payments.

I use both but it seems to be getting harder to use cash, most places want a debit card or credit.

Cash is best if possible but it is like you said not always available. If you can do without until you have the cash you are better off and I think you are right...God will help you through it.

I firmly believe that credit should be used very wisely and not in a "throw caution to the  wind" way. If you can use debit, by all means. On the other hand, if you have the discipline to use it and understand the ins and outs, then go for it. I paid all of mine off and vowed to not go there again. So far, so good.

Cash 7/8 of the time.

Paying off debt.. getting into the positive is the goal.
