This was me so impress to me, My elder son birthday is on Feb. 14, which is Valentine Day. We was talking about  the special day coming up, My Daughter in law told me that they do not celebrate Valentine day in their home. I say to her why, She said that everyone should be able to celebrate their birthday without being reminded of a holiday on their birthday. So they make my son birthday special. I like that.

Very thoughtful indeed.  We never forget those we love, do we?  They remain with us always.

I'm sorry for your loss. I also do things just in case my mother sees them in heaven. 12 years later, im 23, im married, i have a daughter, and life is surprising good... i really miss her though. sometimes i just look at the sky and wonder if she can see me and what she thinks....

Just an update of how this weekend went. I think it went real well. Yeah it was after midnight when we got to my parents house on Friday but that is because the 10 year olds performance ran late but.... My mom had bought some new flowers and what all I needed to make a new bouquet to go at the cemitary: mostly red roses which were Rachel's favs. but there was also some pink, white and yellow roses as well(silk of course so they last). We went as the whole family, the four of us, my parents and brother, sister-in-law and their 5 kids and put the new flowers and two balloons, sang a song then left. From there we went out for dinner. After dinner it was to my parents where we had ice cream cake and brownies and all of us except for the three youngest who never met her said some of our favorite memories of her and played her favorite songs in the background. We left early (7:15am) to make it back to the ATL so the 10 year old could make it back for the next part of what she did Friday. Short trip over all but at least it was only 2 1/2 hours.
