How do you tell your friends and family about FC

I keep telling friends of mine about this site but most seem to never want to give it a try. I know it would help some of them who are online most of the time anyway.

Any suggestions on how I can encourage them to try it. I can't show them a check as I have paypal and haven't received my first payment yet.

Any ideas?
