Depends on what YOU like, but yesterday for my cheat day I had a very large Sonic's oreo blast and Shark's chicken wings with hushpuppies.  Do you plan to start dieting/eating better after the colonoscopy? Good luck with that btw

Like yogurt? Even if we were doctors we don't have all the facts and information related to your case.

"... Generally, once a patient is discharged from the hospital and begins to recover from anesthetic, he can resume a regular diet. Due to the anesthetic, he might want to resume his regular diet slowly, beginning with liquids until soft foods such as puddings or yogurt can be tolerated. The effects of the anesthesia may cause nausea, which will keep the patient from returning to his regular diet. Drink clear liquids until the nausea subsides. Listen to your body and resume eating with a liquid, soft or "invalid" diet..."   Genevieve Van Wyden

"...Physicians recommend eating lightly at first because the sedation may precipitate nausea and the gas triggers discomfort. Gradually increase your food as tolerated and report any inability to eat a regular diet within the first 24 hours to your physician..."  Gail Morris

"...Personally? I would highly recommend some Greek Yogurt (any brand will do as long as you verify that it has active cultures)...which is on the label. This will replace some of the 'good guy' bacteria that you may have flushed out along with your prep...When in doubt over medical issues, always ask your doctor before accepting online advice from strangers..."

Oh ok.  I only asked because I've heard of people getting colonoscopies as a jumpstart to living a healthier lifestyle.  After doing my research on it, it seems to me like it's a healthy way to remove a lot of the old junk in the body.  I wonder how much more effective this is than a normal enema, I'll look that up soon.  Fill us in on your experience with it after the procedure's done, good luck  :peace:

Thanks GUYS FOR HELPING I ended up with mongolian beef and chow mein. The prep was horrific.i spent a lot time in the bathroom. Had the procedure yesterday they forgot to sedate properly so I woke up in the middle of it which sucked *bleep*.They said there are no major problems and that I will get the rest of the results in two weeks.I am a little sore and very very very tired .thanks for your advice .going to go eat some yogurt now.
