Job
« on: November 25, 2012, 07:32:22 pm »
I have worked for a window plant for 13 years. Before this I worked at a Daycare for 10. I hate new jobs so try really hard to make things work. I am facing a hard decision. I get physically sick when I go to work because of the stress. The company is so severly mismanaged it has become impossible to work. Would you continue to try and make it work or move on?

I wish I could offer you some good advice, but I haven't worked for someone else for over 40 years now. I faced a similar decision back then and walked out to start my own company, not I have been retired for 12 years and don't even know what it's like to hold down a job.

:angel11: I understand about the stress because I am experience it myself and what I started meditating and read positve things. I also started getting messages because it was taking a toll on my body and now I am feeling much better and more relax but I am also still finding ways to make money online so that I do not have to work for someone else, I use to be self employed and I miss it. I love the freedom of being my own boss.

Hopefully doing something like this will help you to unwind and relax a little every day, so that you can have some time for yourself. You may also need to investigate possibly some talk therapy with a professional who may be able to help provide you with some other stress reducing activities or methods to help reduce the stress and how you react to the situations that arise. The economy is still not all that great and if you have something that keeps your bills paid it may be worth working through the stresses that come along with that. Do you have any idea what you would do if you were to start your own line of work? Usually the first three years for a new business are the hardest to get the entity launched and successful. Good luck in whatever you do decide to do.

That is a tough decision to make these days.... with jobs so difficult to find and all.  ???  Some people have a hard time finding a job at all.  But; I really think too much stress will make you physically ill!!   :-

That is a hard decision and a difficult one to make with jobs being so scarce.  But I also know how bad stress is for the human body, so try and do some things that will help you to relax.  I, myself, would probably quit.  Good luck to you. :)       :peace:

I would try to stick it out longer while looking for something else.  Jobs are still hard to find - I know!

Yes I agree.  JOBS right now are hard to find and no one hires during the holidays unless it is temp sales help.  I would try to stick it out and see what happens at the first of the year.  With the way congress is going alot of companies may lay off due to taxes.  So, hang in there a little longer.  Keep your head up .

Well, I have been trying to get a job for three years now, and my child is about to go to school next year. If it where me,I would grin and bear it until a sure thing comes along, because no one can afford to lose a job in this economy as it stands today. Good luck with your decision.
