Tamiflu
« on: November 24, 2012, 08:48:50 am »
Anyone ever use Tamiflu and if so do you think it works?  I got up with a runny nose and sore throat.  Then I started feeling sick at my stomach.  I assume I am getting the flu and I remembered my mom had given me a full prescription of Tamiflu that the doctor had given her.  I started taking it, but I heard lately that the FDA doesn't think it works.

I don't trust it, but then I don't trust the safety and actual worth of most medicines.  I stick with old fashioned remedies and common sense, and generally don't get sick.  There was one year a number of years ago that I got the flu real bad, and haven't since then.

My Dr. doesn't recomend any of it. Just lots of bed rest, fluids. drink a lot of 7-u or gingerale to settle the tummy. I also like to drink weak tea with lemon and homey in it. sooth the throats.

It's not safe and neither is a flu shot.

The herbal remedies, colloidal silver or nano silver, MMS, Vitamin C (as in Sodium Ascorbate), and bio-electric tech such as zappers, Rife technologies, etc... are the best ways to deal with it.

Most of the time, the flu is actually a mechanism for the body to detox and get rid of accumulated chemicals and other toxins.

You seem to know a lot about alternate treatments, which is good when it comes to taking care of health. What is MMS actually?

I have heard of Tamiflu but never tried it.  You should see a doctor and see what he recommends.  Hope you feel better soon! ;)

Well this is day three and besides being really tired, I feel ok.  I have to think it helped because usually when I feel the way I did I know that a bad illness is coming.

Never tried it - but always get a flue shot - so don't get the flue.  It even keeps me from getting bad colds :)  That, Vit C and zink at the start of a cold.  Hpe you feel better soon
