The Jefferson's

Herman Hemsley is finally Resting in Peace after such a long time. I loved the George Jefferson persona and his little dance he did. Moving on up song know it by heart and enjoyed all the actors portrayal of Families going through different things. Favorite episode was when Louise wanted to save Florence from embarrassment.

I really liked the Jeffersons, I always laughed at all the bickering and the funny things that were always going on.

Movin' on up!  I used to watch the Jefferson's every week.  Sherman's George was lewd, crude and misconstrued.  My kinda guy!

He was very awesome.  There was a larger-built man who originally played George on All in the Family, but Sherman certainly was much better in the role there as well as once they had "moved on up".  His personality just seemed to make the banter with Archie even more comical.  What I thought was the best, though, truly was the way he went back and forth with Florence the maid.  That was truly good comedy.
I was not aware that he had passed, but he will be missed.  It is hard now to find good, clean family comedy any more.

I haven't been Movin' on up! in years, but I watched it when it originally came out and it was wonderful!
