Thanksgiving day
« on: November 17, 2012, 01:29:06 pm »
We are going down to our daughters house for Thanksgiving we will furnish an 20 pound turkey that we got at Walmart for the same price as target which was $.99 a pound for a butterball turkey which was weeks later for a goodbye ! Lot of stores will sell you turkey if you spend 50 to hundred and $50 for less money but when you're on a budget and it's hard to spend the extra money. We my daughter will furnish the trimmings we are making the turkey and dressing and Olive dish and things like that.?

We're just having a small get together at home with some turkey, various side dishes and some apple pie to finish it off.  :)

I imagine I will have a turkey sandwich with some dressing I plan on making with mashed potatoes and gravy.  I will also probably watch some football and do some cleaning.

Spending the day with family, watching football, eating too much turkey and fixins....and then sleep.
