i am so ready for this flu to go away

i have had this for a week now my lungs hurt so bad from coughing my nose is dried out from blowing it enough of this now time for it to go away plus i have taken all the medicine anddone what the doctor told me to do but yet i still feel like hell

I put together recipes that include garlic and cayenne.  They're both considered anti-viral even though medical professionals usually promote the idea that you must allow a virus to "run it's course."
