I have loads of friends and family in the storm's path so I am praying that they all stay safe and sound. Maybe it won't be as bad as it sounds.

I have some co-workers on the coast who report they are all bracing themselves.  My sister's husband is in the coast guard and going on duty today to help out.  She said she blames the craziness on new neighbors on base who just moved up from Key West, FL.   ;D

I'm not in the storms path a couple of 100 miles away and you can hear and feel the winds causing noises in the apartment walls.

Unfortunately , we live between Phila. and Atlantic City are right in the storm's path. Fortunately,we do not live at the jersey shore. It is really starting to get bad and the storm has not hit yet. They are now saying it will hit @5- 6:00 pm.

We are as prepared as we are going to be. We stilll have power but we are expecting to lose it for a while. We have a gas stove and plenty of foodand water so we will be fine.

I have not been though a power outage lasting more than 8hrs. so I have been a bit spoiled.

I live in Arizona and I pray for those that are in its path.  You all please stay safe.  The pictures I have seen so far are horrible.
