Contests and promotions

Since I am a neebie, I am curious about all these contests and how to play. What do the locks mean and when do you get to post on Post Mania. I am not sure what the rules are and when you get to reply if they are locked. Can someone explain how this works? Sounds like fun

In the "Contests and Promotions" section of the forum there are two "Pinned Topics."  In the very first post of each of those topics you'll find the newest contest, along with it's instructions and a clickable link so that you can play.

"Ongoing Promotions" are also under the Contests and Promotions section, and are listed under the "Normal Topics."  Hope that helps you out a little.

If a thread in the Contests & Promotions discussion board is locked, it's because it is an old promo and is over. The current and ongoing promos will not have a lock next to it. So, for example you can click on the Tues/Wed promo and read the rules on page one of the thread. The link for the current promo will be on page one. All the others that are crossed out on page one are old and no longer valid. Just make sure you read the rules for each promo on page one of it's respective thread. The credits for the Tues/Wed & Sat/Sun promos are not instant credits. Kohler posts the credits the following week just before he puts up the new promo.
