This is interesting. And they're so small (size of a grain of sand) I'm surprised these type of ladybugs were spotted. I always thought they were neat and this makes thing even more interesting by behaving like turtles (at least tucking the head in).

Awwwww I love entomology! Ladybugs are one of my favorites, so hearing about this is so cool! I subscribe to the belief that ladybugs are good luck, even though it's obviously not scientific fact  ;)

Yeah, I saw some pictures of it the other day because it was highly searched for creature. Kinda like a turtle tucking its head it but it is a ladybug

I thought that they always could tuck their heads in like that, but I suppose this is really a different bread of beetle.
