Do you believe in an open marriage?

Marriage is a sacred union created and intended by God to be between one man and one woman. 

No, it isn't.  That's merely a superstitious religious belief without merit. So-called "pagans" were having "handfastings" and other pair-bonding rituals long before the xtian cult tried to co-opt the idea, (not to mention "arranged marriages" which had more to do with property than with any 'g-ds').

Thank you, I'm glad to see someone on here can understand that marriage was around long before 'Christians' came along. Some of them did have 'open marriages' also. I believe whatever works best for that couple is what is right.

No problem.  It's unfortunate that so many xtians seem to believe that such 'cultural thefts' and outright plagiarism of pre-existing pagan cultures constitute 'inventing' something they appropriated.  The sheer gall and self-delusion involved in such unthinking presumptions would be astounding were it not so rampant even today.

Exactly, I have no problem with people saying that they don't believe in something, or are against it because their religion forbids it. That is fine with me, but when they come across as though their religion invented it, well it tends to irk me a bit. It also irritates me when someone says something will NEVER WORK, simply because it didn't work for them or for a few people they may know. I've known several people who are in open relationships and have been for years and are perfectly happy with their choice.

This is the super colossal h-e double toothpicks no. An open marriage is just a way of two people who want to destroy each other doing it together. Ripping each others hearts out over and over. It's actually sadistic, why not just get some whips and chains and beat the h__ out of each other and be done with it. If you really didn't want to get married this is the way to go. Oh and not for nothing but this is called adultery, forget about it! Are you nuts?

I think that after you know your other person has been with someone else its hard to be with them the same way it once was.least it was for me..I felt like a line was crossed
