What do you do to lift your spirits?
« on: October 07, 2012, 09:48:06 pm »
I have been having a  rough week. My daughter got sick and I took her to the er. I get home and eat something and I think I am having an allergic reaction. Thank god for allergy over the counter meds. So on a day like this I will read a few scriptures, listen to some relaxing movies and go to bed.

I usually watch a funny movie. Laughter is the best medicine for my really low days.

Depending on how low the feeling is.  My spirit-lifters are prayer, time with family, AND MAKING $$$$$$ ON FUSION CASH.

Doing anything that has worked in the past, like I see you read your Bible. Read  some jokes, I have a few joke books. Watch a comedy on DVD or tv. One thing that is a real mood changer for me is doing some exercise. Eating something with sugar in it sometimes does the trick. Sleeping is a winner all my troubles go away for a while. Hope you and your daughter are feeling much better real soon.

I hope you and your daughter get better soon.

For me prayerful meditation and spending time with my aunt helps. She is a very cheerful person and always lifts my spirits. I always enjoy talking to her when I'm down and she is just so pleasant to be around that it helps to calm my mood. As the previous poster said sleep helps because sometimes I just don't feel myself when I haven't got enough sleep.
