I disagree with same sex marriage but here is something to ponder. Does anyone think that the supreme court will take up the same sex marriage issue on their docket within the next 10 years (frame it as a civil rights issue and have same sex marriage legalized in all 50 states?) Would that infringe upon states rights or is that a shaky argument at best? I wonder why same sex marriage supporters don't protest at the federal level and try to get a law pass for all 50 states instead of going through the states to do it.

I believe in God, Jesus Christ the Savior and the Holy Spirit and their written Word the Holy Bible.
The bible says same sex relationships are wrong.   The bible also teaches love.  I love and respect
straight and gay people but I do believe its a sin.  Hate the sin not the sinner.
Also God's love is available to all people, ya just gotta accept it.

For me, I stand on traditional marriage between a man and women.

You didn't answer the question, would you vote to allow people the same rights you enjoy?

People used to think that slavery was okay, and hell, your bible supported that as well.  Does that make it okay?

I'm not afraid to answer that question...NO!!! I DO NOT support gay marriage.  Marriage =  Man + Woman   If this was a math class, that would be the formula.  If two men or two women want to be together then fine, more power to them but it should not be recognized legally as a marriage.

Everyone should be able to get married, whether it's a heterosexual or homosexual couple. What about infringing on the rights of the individual. Aren't we all created equal??

Personally, I'm all for it cause all they want is to have their love recognized and get the benefit of the laws that protect heterosexual couples who made the same commitment to each other.

HOWEVER, if it really angers people that it's called gay marriage, why not just create another word that means the same thing.  It seems that people get bent out of shape cause "marriage is between a man and a woman", so if it's another word, then they should have no problem with it.  That way, marriage would remain the same thing, and this other word would mean the same kind of commitment between a same sex couple.

No big deal to me, it potentially controls the population, potentially encourages adoptions, and it doesn't hurt anyone. Saying it's "wrong" is saying your religion trumps everyone else's beliefs.

First of all, I am a huge gay rights person.

I think it's great that we can express out opinions in this country, but I think it's terrible that people want to still discriminate or keep others from having rights just because they are "different".
I have all the hope in the world that one day, two women marrying will be as accepted as a black and white marrying.

;)Different sex marriages are still really interesting. Why not? I recommended same sex marriages are different tasting when some guys were boring and nothing to do about their life.
