Meh, the TSA is a government agency. Good luck getting any respect from them. Any government or former government employee knows that it's near impossible to get fired once you start working for them. I remember when my brother was in the Marines and he was in full dress uniform and the TSA guy still made him stop and do a bunch of stupid stuff including drink from a soda he was holding in his hand.
I had an issue with them when I was in the Army and a guy smarted off to me after they broke one of my external hard drives. Then I started yelling at him in front of everyone, and he told me you better stop now because you're talking to a federal employee and it could be considered a crime. At which point I pulled out my Military I.D. and said yeah..I'm a federal employee too, and I think my branch is a little bit more powerful than yours.

I'd just get use to it. The TSA isn't going anywhere.....ever. They won't be getting any better either. Look at how unorganized USPS is now days.
