Recording video in HD quality

I have taken interest on recording and editing videos. I don’t feel my iPod has superior picture quality when it comes to recording videos. I think the quality is just too basic. My first digital camera broke down a long while ago. I am currently conducting research for a digital camera through consumer reviews. What brand of digital camera or camcorder do you use to record HD quality video? Any recommendations?

       Why is it that whenever you go to "Paid Videos" and you click on the icon that looks like a gear or boat sterring wheel,it slowwwwwwwwws it dowwwwwwwwwwwwn so dang much & about 40% of the time you don't recieve any credit?
