Everyone who has a problem with what he said did listen to what he said. If you truly stopped to think about it, you'd realize #1 not everyone believes in your god or any gods for that matter (I certainly don't). So saying something is "pro God defined" is meaningless. You might as well say "pro Smurf defined". It holds no weight. #2 Even if your god exists and defines something someway, so what? That doesn't make it any less bigotted. Your god also defines the role of women and it's no less sexist. God is pro marrying your cousin too.

Making statements that boil down to "I can live my life as I see fit but, if you're homosexual, you can't" is "anti gay anything". If you give money to organizations that support creating laws that will prevent people from living their lives as they see fit is "anti gay anything"
