I hate bullying and it surprises me that people bully on here.  This is not that serious of a place.  I just ignore ignorant people.

If it was actually occurring here, (and not the product of the imagination of a drama queen), the moderators would step in).

I just ignore ignorant people.

I take it you're not a teacher or a parent then?
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I have so much more to do than react to bullies.  Just ignore them!  They feed on responses.

Yes, i do think cyber bullying occurs, just as "regular" bullying occurs. There are lots of reasons why, too many to list, but it is a shame that it exists. Wasn't there a case recently with facebook or myspace bullying that resulted in a teen committing suicide? Sad.

That is all you can say in that situation, as the saying goes. Was it just "internet bullying." did these people actually track down the victim in person and forced them into suicidal submission? The fact that things like this are publicized on a massive level shows you what the internet makes available to those who are looking for it. do you think that "victim" would have committed "suicide" if he or she did not have access to a computer? who knows, right? it could have very well been something that person was reading or doing aside from facebook and myspace.

I don't recall the details, just that a teen was bullied and cyber bullied and eventually committed suicide. It was something I saw on the national news. I'm sure you can find it online if you are interested in learning more about it.
