Can you believe they threw 4 teams out of the Olympics for trying to lose? Those so called athletes should be embarrassed.

What was the benefit on losing?

They were accused of playing to lose so they could face easier opponents in future matches.  Yeah they should be playing their best.  But if rules are made so that they can play again in even if they lose and still make it to the medal rounds, why not try to get an edge?  Happens in sports competition all the time.  If they don't want it, change the rules....so they don't get tempted to do that.  It's just that simple.

Cheating is cheating no matter what and there is no place for it any where.

Wow, that's an interesting strategy. Maybe instead of throwing out the teams, they change the structure to take away the incentive.

WHY IS IT CHEATING?!?  It's a strategy. It's not like they're bribing the judges or making their equipment better or switching out the bird in the middle of play.  :binkybaby:
