How do you celebrate your birthday?

im 54 and still love birthdayyyysssss mostly other peoples birthdays but  mine is ok too, i figure i might be getting older but better than being dead right lolol just like the gray hairs on my head i earned every single one of them lol

 my b/d was may 31 we got together with friends went out and had fun and to me another day but that how it was this year and i saw my granddaughters so that made my b/d compleate

i usually go out for a drink at a bar or something, but this time i cant do that coz im pregnant.

My bday is 9/29 and I usually just go to dinner with my sisters , but this year my friend and I will be celebrating our bday's together. Hers in on the 30th, so we are going to throw a weekend party. She will be 21 I will be 31

If I do anything, I simply get myself a treat such as an ice cream. I don't "celebrate" any holiday.

As you become more mature in life (old!), it is just like another day. But I am thankful that I still have them because the alternative isn't too good! LOL

I love birthdays. Mine happens to fall close to Mardi Gras, so I've used that as an excuse to go to New Orleans before. I spent another birthday in the mountain and have done the birthday party thing. But I'm just as happy to go out to dinner, watch a movie, hang out with friends or family.

We celebrate my birthday with a cook out with the neighbors and family. Grilling steak, bbq chicken, with pasta salad.

I've never really done anything special for my birthday. Not even when I was a kid. After my early teens, it was really just another day. After I got to be 18-19, I would even forget my birthday was coming up. I have even forgotten it was my birthday ON my birthday.
