I also am sad to here about Andy Griffith passing away. He seemed to be just a kind and gentle man. Loved watching The Andy Griffith Show and also Matlock. Hollywood is sure losing some of the best!!!!

I will miss him. Even my 8 yr old has seen the Andy Griffith show. No disrespect to him but I actually thought he was older than 86.  But he will be missed and from what people said who worked with him he was a nice man

Andy will be remembered for years to come... the original "Andy G Show" is a classic... Don Knotts won a lot of Emmys for his role as Barny and we all know far Ron Howard has come.  God bless you Andy!

I read about his dead and was saddened.

He was a great actor.  I loved him in Matlock and am old enough to remember
the Andy Griffith show.
