How Do Most Forest Fires Start

I live in N.M. and we have had some big fires not out yet. All most 300,000 acres for the whitewater and baldy fire and on near riodosa and it is almost 100,00 acres and burned a lot of homes. Folks it is dry here.  and it doesn't take much to get one started. Just some dry lightening and of course stupid people. Some of the fire in the baldy it is almost impossible to get too the country is so rugged.

        Unfortunately, there are a lot of flammable stuff in the forest. Anything can start the fire, even high temperatures.

I agree tht he humidity has a lot to do wih it. Most ground cover is damp and harder to burn
