I believe in it because it is a very real thing. I do find it funny that the same people that claim that that something should be a certain way because it's their rights to practice their religion have no problem ignoring the rights of anyone different than them

That's because there are those would want to impose their religious beliefs on others, (such as some muslims and some xtians).  On the other hand, you don't see any attempts by those who have a tradition of 'arranged marriages' to oppose such upon those who don't.

  i think if it is already a written law that marriage is between a man and a woman so be it. i mean in most states is not sodomy against the law. well the law should be enforced. if we change this law what perverted sexual act will be acceptable. sex with animals well my lamb and i are in love. who is to say that will not be legalized. the next thing some sicko brain washes a child why should a person be denied true love because of their age. next thing 30 year olds marrying 8 year olds. so weddings will be held in barns for animal lovers and in pre-schools for pedophiles. where will the perversion end ?? so if you wish to break the law you should be punished just like any other sexual criminal. sodomy is illegal ENFORCE IT!!!!!

That is false.  In 2003 the Supreme Court reversed the decision, (a lower court's ruling o ati-sodomy laws), with Lawrence v. Texas, invalidating sodomy laws in the remaining fourteen states (Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Virginia).

I don't have an problem with it, in fact I feel safer with them, but if they want to marry each other so be it.  That's fall in place with mixed marriages.
