what should i do for my 21st bday

My two best friends are not 21 so i wanna do soemthing not in the bars was thinking to rent a party but and drive around chicago but is very expensive any ideas?

I have a son getting ready to turn 21 and all I can say is what ever you do, if you are planning to drink be sure you are somewhere where you can stay until you are able to drive.  If you are wanting to have a party I know that some motels have a area you can rent for a party and if drinking involved you plan to rent rooms for yourself and well as the guests renting there own rooms, that way everone is safe and you share the cost of the rooms because you can have 4 people pur room and by shareing the rooms that makes it cheap on everyone.  This would be the same advice I will give to my son because driving and drinkng don't mix.

I'm not familiar with your area, but I'm sure you can rent a place for your event. I agree with blondie71 though, have a great party and have fun but don't let anyone drink and drive. If they drink they stay unless they have a sober DD. Parties can be a lot of fun, but if you mix alcohol and a vehicle it never ends well.

Just because its a birthday party dosent mean you have to have drink. Hire a couple of strippers or something. Go to a concert. Do something meaningful.

You don't have to go crazy and party for your birthday. Find something you and your friends will enjoy. My big present was that I went to Massachusetts to visit family but they also took me to a bunch of places relatively close like New York and Connecticut  and I was able to see a Patriots game while I was there. I also celebrated with my friends at home by having a big dinner and took a little weekend trip to New Orleans with a few people

Maybe go to a casino and drink at those crazy lavish bars.  I know for my 21st coming this October I'll be headed to Mohegan Sun for a grand time.  Maybe check out Bobby Flay's restaurant and get a great burger!!! Yum and fun!!!

I live in chicago so was planning to rent a limo for a few hours then do something in the city but not a clubbing girl and into bars and half friends still 20 any other ideas what to do in a city? btw not that into drinking
