How can I earn more money besides completing offers?
« on: September 26, 2009, 09:42:22 pm »
I'm really in a need for money at this moment. I'm serious, I see all lot of people hear have been well-paid (someone earned almost $1000). How can I send referrals when I only have a few associates and no audience/listeners? Can someone give me tips so I can earn about $100?

It usually takes a while to build a referral network.

Referrals are certainly the way to go here, but to make real money from them they must be active members. It took me several months to get referrals to FC, but with patients and effort they will stumble in. I feel your pain financially, many others are in the same boat. Keep a positive attitude and try as hard as you can in all you do, the sun will once again shine.

The best way is to Tell Your Story anywhere you can gain an audience. Realize that there are MILLIONS of other people having the EXACT SAME problem you are, so if you share a solution with them that is working for you, they would be crazy not to jump on it like a dog on a bone.

Go places like forums and where they allow your referral link in your signature or in your profile. Might even good to create a blog, center around FC. Do all the daily surveys, free offers, credit ones. Will make you some money too.

I have always been afraid of, as OldBuddy stated, "Telling My Story" because I figured not enough people would see it, or I'd have to spend a lot of money somehow or sign up for things and I'd lose track of what sites I use & usernames & passwords and all that .... but actually, its pretty easy.  There are a million sites that will let you post for nothing and forums just like this are out there where people talk about making money on the internet and little else...so, I throw my story out there too.  In many cases, I've discovered that I can even include an active link.  I wrote my "story" out in Word and then I also wrote more of a "signature" type of blurb that I can include at the bottom of other posts that aren't necessarily related to making money or FC directly.  Whenever possible, I post one or the other w/ simple copy/paste sometimes with a little adjustment, but mostly its the same I just don't have to retype the entire thing.  I do, however, make sure that I'm not violating the rules & regs of being a participant, bc I've also found some pretty useful info from others and I'd like to keep those resources open w/out getting blocked or banned.  I haven't gone out and started my own sites or blogs and I'm not so great at the big social sites like Facebook and MySpace so right now I keep it fairly simple and hope to keep this up!  It will take a little time - just don't have unreasonable expectations that you'll be a millionaire off FC next week.  :)

P.S.  If you do get to be a millionaire off FC by next week, we all want the dish. :fish:

Everyone is giving you great advice.  I feel so sad that people in our country are having such a hard time.  All over the internet I read about real people who are in such bad situations.  Unfortunately when that happens we all want instant solutions.  I have found that the best way to make yourself feel better immediately is to make a plan and take a few steps each day to work towards your goal.  That puts the control in your hands and helps take away that feeling of being a boat out in the middle of a storm just going where ever the waves push you.  Your situation does not change overnight, but you get a sense of calm knowing that you are doing everything you can to make things better.

Make a video, make some fliers, create a blog  will these things get you $100 today, probably not, but at least you are taking control and learning valuable skills along the way.  Best of luck to you.

I opened your post with the intentions to give some advice, but it seems like its all been covered! Its very nice to see such genuine support in a community like this for once - usually people are too focused on their own 'plate'. Most of what has been said was what I was going to recommend, but there were a few tips in the above posts that I hadn't thought of. So thank you for helping the original poster, but others like me too!

Thank you everyone for the advise. I have been working different angles of making money at home for about a month now. I am starting to find new ways to make money. I do kind have a hard time will all the web sites though and finding time to do every one of them. I have been trying to thin out the bunch. See which ones are good for me and which ones are not so good. It's taking a while and I expected it would. I think I wasted a lot of time trying to be an affiliate. I can't seem to make much there but I found a lot of classified sites in the process. Well TTL

Dragon,
I know sometimes you feel as though you have wasted your time with some of the things you have done, but when I do that I have always learned something that I can use somewhere else.  I don't mind giving up the time if I learn something.  What I can't stand is giving up money to learn a hard lesson.  There is a difference.  I try never to do the second one.

And to jiggy, the key words in your post are "just started", if you stick around and don't just throw in the towel like so many people do, I promise you will learn some things and it will all come together.  If 70% of the offers don't approved for you then you are doing something wrong.  You want to either re read some of the tips here, or give up on offers and just do the dalies and concentrate on promoting this site and getting referrals.  Don't just give up and say it didn't work.  Unless you don't need the money in the first place.
