How do u confirm email?

I've been here like five years, cashing out every other month or so.  Now it suddenly says I have to comfirm my email.  I repeated try to have it resent, but nothing.  Checked my junk folder, not there, tried making a different email, still nothing.  My support tickets are ignored, please help if u know the answer.  I used to like working at this site, would hate to have to give it up.  Thanks

I just changed my email address and was asked to confirm the new email.  I did receive the confirmation email at the new address only and simply clicked on the link provided to confirm the address.

Are you still getting a request to confirm your email address? Check your account page in the upper left hand section (Account and verification) to see if there is anything that is open.

Check your profile to make sure the email address that you want is still there and that it's exactly as it should be.

If you have a hotmail email address, sometimes that site will not send on what they consider spam.  I currently use gmail and do not have that problem.

Last thought:  did the request for you to confirm your email address come from an email from FC?  Could it have been a phishing email that was trying to get your account information?  Could someone else have accessed your account and initiated an email change without you knowing it?

I would consider it strange that after 5 years, FC just realized that you haven't confirmed your original email address -- but stranger things have happened.

Another thought:  are they asking you to confirm your PAYPAL email address?  If you've been using PAYPAL all along, and haven't changed it, it beats me why they would be asking you to confirm again.

glenlogie, I wish I knew what to tell you.  How were you informed that you needed to confirm your email?  Are you certain it was about your FC account? Is that why you are listed as a newbie? Did anything else in your account change?  I do hope you can get this straightened out.  Keep us informed!
