Using flashlights at night on NCIS, etc.
« on: March 16, 2012, 10:08:28 am »
I have noticed that on quite a few of the shows, when there is a crime and the team goes into a house or room at night, they never turn on the lights.  They almost always use flashlights.  It seems it would be much easier to just turn on a few lights, but guess the flashlights are used for effect.

I'm not sure why they do that. Maybe it's part of keeping the scene intact until everything's clear?
