Oh no.. help me with this please!!!
« on: January 23, 2009, 07:51:34 pm »
I did this offer for Know Your Credit, i got it approved, and i went to try and cancel the acct but when i realized that its friday and if you dont cancel it in 72 hours then they charge you the monthly rate, but i cant call them this weekend because there business hours are monday through friday . So they have a way that you can cancel the acct online but theres a member id thing you have to put in and they send this member id number in a confromation(sp?) email but they never sent it to me. =[ i know that i was silly for doing this on a friday.. but if i called them on monday, do you think that they would not charge me?

I would open a support ticket and ask because I think discussion of cancellation is against the forum rules.  :dontknow:

I'm pretty sure canceling it period is against the rules.  You're only supposed to do offers you're interested in keeping.

he/she makes a valid point

free trials are meant to test out the service if you try it and end up not liking it then you shouldnt have to be stuck with it just because you sign up from here, but i guess that might not be against the rules

i think its more like if your only signing up to get the credit and have no intentions on testing out the service.. that would be against the rules

I agree that if you are trying it you should not have to keep it... but from the tone in the post it sounds as if they waited until the very last minute to cancel it.  there was no mention of why they wanted to cancel other than the fact that it was with in 72 hrs........

I've just seen in other posts/threads that it's against the rules to talk about it.   :dontknow:
