Have you ever went from having everything to having nothing?

Several times!  I had it all when I lived with my parents thirty two years ago!  Off to college and I was starving.  I worked three jobs, had my house, and car paid off...then I got married and said good bye to it all as we saved for a bigger house.  Got the bigger house, had some great vacations and then had kids which are a huge expense (nothing for me any more). I watched a six figure/year business fall apart and worked for a third of that at a third shift job which was like losing it all.  Then I found today's job, am getting offers and have had cash come to me from different areas...I'll appreciate it this time!

I may lose all of my material possessions but I have one possession that can never be taken from me by anyone or anything ~ the love and salvation given to me by the Lord Jesus Christ.  I have personally gone through very hard times (a disabled husband, personally lost a $100k job but have been blessed with a $25k job).  I know that whatever this life on earth may give or take, I have a mansion and many riches waiting in heaven.

No, thank God I have never experience that, but I've met people that have. I know it has to be a near devastating experience. But, if you know and trust God, you can make it through anything.

I didn't lose everything, but I lost a lot about 3 years ago when I lost my job. It was a very tough time. I'm so thankful to be working now although I'm not making nearly as much as I used to.

yes ive been there b4 several times....its hard but u gotta stay strong and keep telling yourself things will get better...

Yes I've been there as well. I lost my income 3 &1/2 yrs ago and with that I lost my ability to pay my mortgage and help my children in college . It's very sad and awful hard to deal with I don't know how I would have made it back around if I didn't have Jesus Christ to help to maintain my sanity. Just keep fighting the good fight and maintain a positive attitude and know that hard times bring out the strength in us.
