Unprofessional Manager
« on: February 20, 2012, 02:30:06 pm »
I have a manager that is so unprofessional, if she is made at you she will cut your hours. She plays the favorite game, there is only one person who actually get hours but then she will tell me there is none available but turn around and hires another person. Don't get me wrong if I am not doing my job by all means cut my hours but I if I appled for a position that means I need the job. I should not have to woryy about how she is feeling today, because work is not about feelings we are here to do a job that is it.I have never worked ina place where only one managers runs everything even the shift leaders are peons any and everything that goes on in that store has to go through her. I have been gettingless then part time because I apparently pissed her off in some way. But my thing is don't take it out on my hours bring the situation to me help me correct it, but No that is to much like right she would rather talk about you to other employees and then just takes your hours. I wont quit becuase I need my job I mean that is why I a working right. But when I calm down some I will have a professional talk with her hopefully to get a better understanding if not partial benefits here I come. I do have a few opportunities lined up that will hopefully be calling back soon so that I don't have to deal with this anymore

Okay so a while ago I told you all that I had a unprofessional manager, well in two weeks I will know longer be there. She has pushed me to the point of no return and so to remain professional on my behalf I choose to find gainful employment else where. Thank you GOD

Hopefully, you've got another job lined up by then otherwise, the attributed thanks may have been for bad advise in the current job market.

I've been there before. Not only were my 'managers' unprofessional, the gm wasn't exactly in line himself (neither was the gm that replaced him when the first guy left). I've been the victim of favoritism too. While I'm busting my butt doing my work, I was doing everyone else's work too, only I was getting paid less than everyone else & they wouldn't give me a raise or fair & decent hours.

I think most of us have been there at one time or another. I would be looking for another job on the qt., Some managers let it go too their heads and can make your life a miserable he##., Myself i never ask anyone to do something i couldn't or wouldn't do. And yes i had cut some hours on those that kept calling in sick when they wanted play. So if your boss has a large ego fault, it will never change.
