I think Admin does a pretty good job. It is impossible to completely police every post, and I think they have right to rely on members to report posts that are unacceptable.

all I'm asking is for there to be someone who can keep the insults and arguements from getting out of hand.

Considering that you're one of the worst offenders in that regard, your complaint is more than tinged with irony.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Wow. Someone seems angry!!

Well... it's too bad that people are being rude to each other and disrespectful to each other, but no matter what the administrator do, people will still be mean!! I know it's cliche, but I will still say it - people are entitled to their own opinions and you can't avoid people getting angry at each other for opposing views.

I was being rude a few days ago, but I didn't retaliate. I simply apologized for any hard feelings, and the person automatically calmed down and chilled it. So let it be a lesson - don't get mad when someone gets mad at you. Handle the situation appropriately. If you don't want drama, then don't cause drama, and don't CONTINUE DRAMA.

I just don't pay attention enough to let it bother me if someone is being rude or insulting me. I'm never gonna meet them in real life and what someone says behind a computer screen is oftentimes different then what they'd actually say to your face. This forum is actually pretty mild considering stuff I've seen on other forums. Personally I get entertainment out of people who fight and argue on here about their differences in opinion....I kinda just sit back and watch lol.

I haven't seen any name calling but a mod to help the Admin re-arrange misplaced threads would be great. Sometimes I don't know what forum I'm even trying to browse until I scroll back up. (This forum is full of misplaced threads.)

Lol. Yeah I think it's pretty amusing too. I mean some people get a little out of hand, but it's funny how a few words off a computer screen can make some people so mad. It's just people's opinions. If you don't agree then ok, but is it really worth getting so upset over.

thanks for the suggestion for the report to mod. I have seen some "conversations" on here that should have been reported and cut-off because of the content. :sad1:

I like how everyone went to the "rude posts" part of moderating and not the "let's move posts to the correct forum" part.

I'd guess that 20% of posts are in the wrong forum and it would be a good idea to at least move them to the correct forum.

The forums here aren't that bad. Unless the subject is provocative, people might voice their opinions about that. other than that, this is one of the friendliest forums I've been.

Man, is that an understatement; if these folks saw some of the unmoderated usenet forums out there, they'd readily agree that FC isn't half bad a far as that goes.

Then we would get paid less if they have to hire baby sitters, be an adult and learn to live with it. It is the real world.
