would you smoke a cigarette while surfing

I'm a smoker but I wouldn't for two reasons: One, I can't surf, and two, pretty sure the water would either put it out or wash it out of my hand.

I guess it would depend on what I was surfing   (and if I smoked in the first place).  If I was surfing the web or the tv I might but not the waves....wouldn't it just get wet??
