extincted from their native homes. In Texas, there's shelter/zoo/animal shot range all in one. The animals endangered or extincted are breed there, repopulated, raised & there's also a seasonal hunting range time, those who, come to do the hunt can only hunt 1 animal & depending on the type, if endangered they the hunting fee is really costly. 1 person paid $10,000.00 to do the hunting tour. Some animal activist are outraged about it & 1 tells the reporter that she'd rather see the endangered animals extincted then have them used as target practice. Me, think that it's a great thing that the Texas conservation for endangered or extincted animals is successful minus the hunting stuff. I understand why it's done, it brings a lot of money in so they can run the facility but I still can't get around hunting them as sport.

I don't understand the hunting thing as a sport either...especially since in this day & age there are so many shooting/target practice virtual games available.  Perhaps what there needs to be is a facility where they keep the criminals, murderers, etc. and have open range on them once a year.  That way those that like to kill can kill something that isn't so innocent as a poor, innocent animal that has every right to enjoy it's life.
Perhaps then crime would become extinct... :dontknow:
