I have used Mediacom cable for just over 2 years now.  That was a big step up from 28k dial-up.  My first modem ever (pre-internet) was a 300 baud beauty for my Commodore 64 in the early 80's.  When I first got on the internet, it was with a 2400 baud modem on my PC.  Back in the early 90's, that was actually not too bad.  The WWW was very different then.  Much fewer websites and most of them were highly text-based. 

I also had a 300 baud modem with my Radio Shack Color computer that I used to connect to a bulletin board user group.  What fun that was!!  I think by the time I connected to the internet, I had 56k but everything was mostly text and learning html and Perl was fun.  I just wish I'd done a better job of buying domain names back then

Comcast cable internet. I like the service for the most part and I feel like it is a pretty fair price. =)

I use the comcast package with cable tv, internet and phone. It works fine for me.

I ran a Bulletin Board system with a 300 Baud Modem on a Zenith Z-80 with 16K memory and a 10 Mb hard drive that took two men and a boy to carry. The operating system was CP/M and the software was written in assembly language. It's come a long way since then.

Ah yes, the days of the BBS.  When I finally upgraded to a 1200 baud modem I set up my own BBS on the C64 using C-Net.
