doctors or nurses help-heart issues

I found out that i am having heart problems and my doctor is telling me anything i have to get a sonogram of my heart,Ekg and next week i have to take a stress test does anyone have an ideas why they are making me do this

My brother's a nurse, but I'm not.  I do know that those tests will give them visual information so they can see if you have any defects in the structure of your heart.  The stress test is routine for heart problems.  They need to see how it performs under physical exertion.  I hope they were mistaken and find you have nothing to worry about.   :peace:
