I just ordered my first set of hair extentions
« on: December 28, 2011, 06:16:02 am »
I am kind of nervous that since I'm ordering them online that the color won't match but I'm sure hoping so.  I looked up reviews on them and they sounded good and at such a reasonable price for great quality.  I can't wait to try them out.  At first I thought I would wait and grow my hair out on it's own but even if my hair was long I figure I can use them to add volume.  Any tips for me from anyone who has already used hair extentions?  I got the rapunzel rapunzel ones!

My sister got extension from Sally's too... and she never goes anywhere without them.

Hopefully you got real hair ones, because the synthetic ones I've heard aren't too good.
Real ones you can dye, straighten, curl, whatever as long as you take care of them.

;D I already have long hair. What do you mean my first set? Are you ordering more?

Don't worry if they don't match, fashion is half one color half another color  :dontknow:

Well like my first time buying I guess - I'd imagine if they get ruined I'd purchase another set.  I was going to wait and grow my own hair out but I figure I'll still use them to add volume.

They are real human hair I once worked with a woman who had the synthetic and yeah you can completely tell the difference.  I should be getting them in the mail today, they had an order before 3 get next day shipping option, so now I'm just hoping they arn't going through regular postal mail, which means they will arrive at 4 and I won't have time to play around with them because I leave for work @ 5:15.  I want to curl them...so it would take a while.

That is so true, because once, I brought some synthetic glow in the dark hair extensions at Hot Topic and I tried to use a straight iron on them.....well, let's just say, that totally screwed them up. They ended up being in knots and were ruined.  :angry7:  I never brought hair extensions online, but have been thinking of doing that just recently. The ones I see in my local mall are so expensive!! I cannot believe the price! I have heard that you can get them cheaper online, so I probably will do just that.
