Personally I don't enjoy the idea of speculators in oil at the moment (considering it is always going to be a high demand item in the near future), but it is a gamble the speculators are making and it does have risks.

True, there are risks in any commodities market and an investor never really knows what's going to cause spot-market prices to surge or plunge in an 'instant', (beyond the speculators driving prices one way or the other).

gas prices are just too high in Hawaii. I rarely drive anymore and food prices are taking a big hit. I don't think its a supply and demand issue?

Gas Prices are soaring these days. I can't afford to go many places and when I do leave home I try to get all my errands done before I go home. I'm seriously thinking of buying myself a bicycle.

Gas prices are finally on the way down here in South Texas. Not really sure why, but I'll take it.

I heard a news commentator today say that people are returning to larger vehicles, which means we are getting used to higher gas prices. Now, that is a dangerous trend.

Gas went down .10 where I live. It went from 3.87 to 3.77. Boy what a savings.

I paid about $135 at the pump on Saturday. That's nothing compared to a lot of other SUV drivers in other states, but $10 gets you only 2.3 gallons. I'm getting 13 mpg. I want a newer, more efficient car, but can't afford the payments. I plan to walk everywhere this summer. We've cancelled all plans to get passes to fun places near us.
