Toolbar and horrible lagging
« on: January 13, 2012, 01:06:41 am »
I have to agree with others that have posted.  :BangHead:

I LOVE the new toolbar!!!

But..............  :sad1:
It surely is lagging my computer. :-
I can't do anything other than that on IE now.  Nothing runs like it used to.

So I am going to uninstall and re-install and i really hope that helps...
because I do like the extra .05 cents a day.  :crybaby2:

Sadly I haven't been able to use it today (well yesterday seeing I haven't slept yet) because it would not even load the page I was trying to search.   :BangHead:

Anyone else having the same problems?  ???

Did it help if you uninstalled and reinstalled?   ???

Thanks in advance for your feedback!!

My toolbar is working well. My only problem is that I am not getting one cent for every four searches. I have earned 8 cents for 43 searches. The number of searches increases as well as my amount of earnings but not at one cent for every four searches.

Were you able to get your five cents every day? Maybe you can advise me. What am I doing wrong? What is a valid search?

How is your toolbar working today?

A viald seacrh is something that gives you actually results, also you can't just search and then search again you have to actually open websites time to time as if you where doing a normal search. I had once the whole day it wouldnt allow any searches add to my toolbar and I was using it right so i just quit for the day went back the next and it worked fine.. Also i dont think you can use the same keyword in that month or atleast until the search bar refreshes to 0!

I installed another toolbar from Inbox Dollars on Internet Explorer and it didn't slow anything down.  My husband forewarned me that it may affect the speed of things so I prepared myself to uninstall it if necessary.  I may get the guts up to try FC's toolbar next.

Do a search just using the word toolbar and then look for anywhere that Admin has posted an answer, click on Admin to see the profile and then click on recent posts, read down through some of them and you will see some clearer information. This topic probably should have been set up as an additional choice from the home section like the contests/ payments/ suggestions as the main topic. Basically in a nutshell, if I understand correctly, the credits come when you successfully do 4 acceptable searches. If one search in the group of 4 is DQ'd ( disqualified) it invalidates that whole batch of 4. However, the search counter keeps counting so it can become difficult to keep track. Several times I have mistakenly closed a window after looking something up and have to go back and start the search over and usually a pop up comes up in the bottom right corner( i am using firefox) and it tells me that I have done an invalid search. Not meaning that it is bad, just that it will not count towards crediting. I am still interested in the information so I just keep going and then if I have goofed up a batch of 4 then I just have to do a fresh batch of 4. I think that is how it works and then once you reach the max you can do for the day you will get a message beside the lookup box that tells you have reached the maximum for that day. I hope that helps out. I just finally reread about this 10 minutes ago so I think it is fresh enough in my head that I got it correct.
