I think it would be nice to not have the stress of living pay check to paycheck and the fact you will have food on your table but i do agree the more money you make the more money you spend the more accustomed you become to that lifestyle the more things it takes for you to be happy and the more stuff you have and can drive a wall between families depending on situation some people have such a big house they all go in their seperate rooms and are more lonely it depends i would have to say it makes you comfortable maybe less stressed about money but can ake you more stressed about plenty more thats my 2 cents !!!! BTW i am not rich but my dad is pretty wealthy but my dad left me and moved into a huge house and has a second house by a lake with a boat i live in a small duplex with my mom i dont think he is much happier

  Ever heard the saying more money more problems? To a degree I agree with that but I also th :angel11:ink it has alot to do with how you spend and manage your money, better money management when rich, better chances you will be richer longer, squander and you may just become like a splurging lottery winner, rich for a while then broke again, that's my take.   And oh yeah the bible says the rich stores up treasures in material possessions but the poor stores up treasures In heaven. It depends on what you do with the money. Pomp and luxury or security for your family and help to those in need. I choose the latter. I would love to be rich, I think it would be fun because I know what I would do with the money. I would share it and I would live comfortably not with a bunch of ridiculous luxury.

It isn't so much that material wealth brings happiness. It is more that you need a certain minimum amount of money to have a decent life. You have to be able to pay for food, rent, and heat, for example. I really can't imagine being too rich, but I can imagine being too poor.

I grew up, not quite poor, but pretty much lived on welfare, food stamps, charities etc. Now that I have become an adult, I have some a lot of what I need (place to live, steady income, food) and some of what I want. Money doesn't buy happiness and being Rich could make you a jerk. but hey, Money could buy me a house, reliable car, and a retirement. ^_^ No complaints if I ever become "Rich" lol

There have been studies done which show that money does not make you happy beyond taking away financial stresses.  My philosophy is this - if you don't want to worry about money, don't.  It's a system, it's kind of like a game.  You simply do your best to stay in the black, play the game...  And to stay as much out of the red as possible is to win.  Focusing on money in life is futile - I focus on the spiritual, on the presence of God in my life.  Money is only a means to that end, one way or another.

     Money does make you happy too a certain point. I mean you can buy whatever you want but one thing money cant buy is LOVE and without that theres no point in being happy!!

I guess it all depends on people's defininition of 'rich'.  It's better to have enough money for your basic needs like food, shelter, medical (including dental & vision) and feeling secure does wonders for your attitude  :-

I have never been rich except in family and health.  Boy, without health what good is money?  I am so thankful each day for the many blessings that the Good Lord gives me.  Thats being rich!!
