I don't feel you should have to move. Make sure everyone in the neighborhood knows of the offenders presence. Make sure the sex offender knows he is being watched.

I would get out of there as quick as possible. Why take any chance with you precious ones. We never know where they may they lurk, but you know where this one is and no need to be near him.

I would may sure he is register and if I can and have small children I will be moving.  I know sex offenders live within a mile of me, but next door is pushing it.

As in any other situation where it comes to the safety of your children, you, as a parent need to be the responsible party in this situation. I wouldn't let them out of my sight for any reason. The little girl that was just murdered lived in a trailer park that had as many as 15 sex offenders and her mother allowed one of them to baby-sit her.
You might be surprised to know how many unreported or arrested sex offenders there are in the general population.  Look at the history of Jerry Sanduski.  Children need to be educated as well. I don't know whether you should move or not; these are just some of my thoughts.

If you have concerns check with your local law enforcement he has to be registered. You could also visit and talk with him before you make a rash decision about moving. I would also set your children down and make certain rules about visiting your neighbors.

           Only my luck it feels like latley that the worst of the worst occurs to me.....I am a parent of two young children and am very concerned about what just moved in next door to me!! A level two sex offender who is on parole and he had a offended towards little children...should I move??

That is terrible....it's a tough call...I can understand you want to protect your children and will constantly be paranoid. At the same time should you allow this person to control your life if you had moved?

just tell the offender in a orderly manner saying if you go near my child ill tell everyone about you... thats what i said when a sex offender was lurking around in the neighborhood. just becareful..

I would not like it, and I would be very protective of my kids.  I would not want that person coming to my house.

I'm only 23 and don't have any children, but I fail to see what the big concern is. There are a lot of SO's in the world and your comfirmation of one doesn't change the fact that you and your children interact with them (unknowingly) on a very regular basis.
