I am going to get my wife one for X-mas... I see some reasonably priced ones out there. Does somebody have a cheaper one, and does it work ok?

I've got a work-provided iPad2, and it's pretty cool. Honestly I don't use it much- I really don't have a need for it.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab seems pretty decent, and the new Amazon Kindle Fire looks good too.
