Thanksgiving dessert for kids

my son's daycare is having a Thanksgiving lunch... he is 4 years old.  I signed up to take dessert and it said "any kind".

I could do brownies or cookies which every kid loves, right?  but is there anything more holiday themed that you think the kids would eat? My son requests cupcakes... not sure I feel like decorating them but I might

you should make cake pops!
i haven't made them yet but i've had them and
they are so yummy. plus, they're individual
so that makes it easy for kids. the decorating
process would probably be as much as cupcakes
though... not sure how involved you wanna get

I vote cupcakes too.  Cakepops are nice too they even have cake pop machines now.  As far as decorating I think cupcakes would be a lot easier.  If you want to be festive you could just use holiday sprinkles.  They have all kind of holiday sprinkles out now.  They have pumpkin, fall leaves.  You can probably find a large variety of candy decorations at Party City or craft stores like Michaels.  Check out these turkey cupcakes decorated with candy corn.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibS_SUJChcI&feature=related.

I vote cupcakes also, if you know how to make cake pops do it but kids love cupcakes, do it.

thanks... this sounds like the way to go.  I'll hit up the craft/party store for decorations and such
Cake pops.... I have never made those, maybe next time (i may research it a little more for this time around though)
