Newspaper vs internet

The newspaper is nice to have once and a wile but almost all of my news comes from the internet because there is no lag time in getting the freshest news the fastest.  The internet beats television news.  Unfortunately for your son I believe that all newspapers will eventually go extinct, as will the United States Postal Service.  Every service that these two entities can provide is done faster on the internet.  Getting a handwritten card is nice but I have sent things in the mail only to have them returned or lost...no worries about that or soggy morning newspapers by having a heavier reliance on the internet.

i rarely use to buy the paper, but now with the internet, i doubt i would ever buy it.

Most of my news content is either online or via television, but I still get comfort reading physical material like a magazine or newspaper. In fact I'm currently part of a limited days newspaper subscription with my local paper. The Sunday paper is still a must, but this is partly due to the ads and coupons I collect.

I never get a newspaper, unless I'm in it. I always just read stuff online.
