this is a good forum to vent :)  feel free and hope it makes you feel better.
I'm feeling "down" today too --- but I hope tomorrow will be a better day

We all have bad days. People with clinical depression even more so. Let it out--cry if you want to, it helps. I'm sorry you are feeling down.  :fish:

I too understand depression. Mine is moderate for the most part but I have bouts of sever depression. I can't afford any medication right now. I have 3 kids and a husband...I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my 6 yr old who has problems. There are days that I truly feel like I'm just not going to make it. Finances are a sore subject for me on top of every thing else I have to do. I literally take care of every detail of our home. My husband gets dressed in the morning, goes to work, comes home....not that he doesn't work hard but that is all he does. I mow the yard, take out the trash, maintain vehicles, pay bills, shop, raise kids, etc etc. I never wanted to be the "little woman" I had a career but my little guy needs help and there just isn't a good place for him other than at home with me. I was an HR director now I am a homemaker and teacher and I just don't know how much longer I can do this. I wake up at 4:30 a.m. and go to bed at around 11-12 at night. From the moment I wake up I'm cooking, cleaning, driving, teaching, and everything else in between. I'm exhausted and broke and I think I'm losing it. I hope to get on medication once we are more financially stable but for now I just pray to make it through every day.

Talk to him. Let him know how down you are feeling.  If he's really there for you, he should listen.   Also, if you are going to a doctor for a visit, let them know how you feel, and see if they can't give you samples of something that will allow you to ease the stress you are feeling. Most antidepressants are cheap if you have any type of insurance.  If you don't most doctors may try to help a little with samples.  What you don't want to do is handle it alone and risk serious depression.l

Pills can help but...only you get out of the hole your are in! Listen to music, go for a walk, take a vacation, do some Arts and Crafts. improve your health any way you can...and you will notice the difference.

i'm sorry that you are sad...i know some people have depression really bad...when i'm sad i take a walk, go visit  friend, watch a funny movie, read the bible, anything that helps you feel better, even if it's only for a little while is worth trying.

I have clinical depression which is mostly moderated by medication. Even still, I have some really bad days. The best things I can suggest is just try to clear your mind. Take naps if you need to. Chamomile tea really helps me, and I think peppermint can help too. There are some foods that you can look up that can help elevate your mood too. Exercise (I'm a horrible example of this, but thats beside the point) can help because it gives you a sense of accomplishment when you complete it.  Just hang in there, talk on the forums, talk to someone. There is someone out there someone who will listen.
