It was one of the most horrific wrecks I have ever seen. Was no way that race was going to continue.

Very sad about his death  I too hope and pray for his family.  I have never seen a wreck that bad before, but all it takes is a bump.

Those race car drivers have no feer.  But when something like this happens, even they feel it.  Its a sad day, I hope the family stays strong  Prayers and faith

Too sad such a young life with a family that depended on him gone, I personally feel this is an unneeded sport, if thats what
it is considered, it's a suicide run, RIP Whelton, my sympathy to his family!!
