Right around the corner...Are you dressing your children in costumes bought, or being creative in making them?
I'm gonna try being creative and save money this year myself.

I like to make them myself. Not only is it cheaper, It is almost always a lot nicer as well.

I will be dressing up my fur-kids for a "HOWL-a-ween" party... I bought the costume for my kitten (which better still fit him because he is growing way too fast) and my lab's costume I found at the local thrift store.

I want to use my little girl (the 180lbs mastiff) as a part of my Halloween costume... With her being big and tan, I'd only need to put a blue collar on her and dress myself in a green T-shirt and brown bell-bottoms to go as Shaggy and Scooby. Unfortunately, I don't think the bars with the costume contests would allow me to bring her in...  :BangHead:

I like decorating for it, that and seeing all the little kids creativeness is pretty cool!

I usually buy them.  But this year my daughter wants to be Pippi and I couldn't find a good costume for her.  So I am attempting to make it this year.  So far so good.

Hey, is there a Petco by you?  They usually have a pet costume contest with goody bags for partipants and prizes for the winners... ;D

I don't have kids, but I look forward to seeing the adorable little goblins and princesses with their Trick-or-Treat bags. I'll wait till the 31st before buying candy, though.

My son just turned 1 September 1st and i can't wait to take him this year!

Last year we dressed him up as a monkey, but this year he understands a little more what is going on and can kinda choose what he likes.

He picked out Woody from Toy Story, which is his fav movie!

It's gonna be adorable, yet I don't see him keeping the hat on for long :D
