man, they bank on some peoples stuff. jeez, if u know what u have then why dont u sell it to pay for ur storage shed so none of ur things are sold in the auction. jeez some people have alot of money invested in the storage unit. i wouldnt let it go.

This is one of the shows that I think is entirely scripted.  I wish it wasn't as the premise is interesting but there are far too many cues that make me doubt its authenticity.

At least this show is pretty original. I know they probably got the idea from *bleep* Stars or American Pickers but a least it's not a direct ripoff like Extreme *bleep* or Picker Sisters. What disgrace those  2 shows are.

I've seen the show before, didn't meant to watch it but ended up getting stuck on it. It's kinda interesting to see what's behind those doors and how much money is spent/made.

They edit it to show only the "prime" lockers and bidding wars. The regulars constantly get outbid and 90% of the lockers they win are usually filled with junk and they take a loss... it's the 1 outta 50 that pays that 20K profit that makes it worth the while. Also, the basic rule of you gotta have money to make money applies. As for the reason people let their lockers default... many things coulda happened. The owner could have died, been jailed, left the country, etc. It's not as glorious as the show makes it out to be and it's a gamblers life, but it is a legit way to make a living...

don't work out so well !
