I have to say that I have used whitesmoke for years.
I can't say that it is always accurate since it is constantly learning from everyone using it.
I don't like that you have to be on line to have to utilize it.
The templates were definitely worth the huge investment.
I didn't really like it at first ... but have grown to appreciate it.

Whitesmoke messed up my computer when I downloaded it. It took me a long time to find a program that would get rid of it.

Well I just did the offer in a Sandbox and it credited. I was then able to completely remove the software. So far everything still works the same as it did before!

I tried this offer before on another site and did not get credited. When I do toolbar offers I make sure that I am not signing up to their search engine and homepage switcher and that I do not autoupdate toolbars. While many download offers are legit, I find that some toolbar offers will submit a clean version of the program to get it allowed as an offer, then count on autoupdate or a virus on the homepage as a way to get the virus to you. If you don't allow those things, then you have a better chance of not getting infected, but also not likely to get credited as well. I would rather have a clean machine and just get the credit from only the legitimate program downloads.
